If you setup boundries in rtk with greenstar can you somehow set your sf2 signal to run down the line planting the next year without drift? I have never made boundries in my systems (greenstar and ag leader ) i never really understood the point other than being able to view the outline of a field on the map. I dont find it necessary to pause at the corner-just crank and go. I've done all my boundries with RTK and they remain the same from year to year. It works great and then is a one person outfit. The globe is mounted to the front of the box slightly higher than your head is and the monitor is mounted to the bar across the bottom of the storage bin. John Deere makes a complete package for their gators. I made a bracket to attach the display and receiver to,the front and have the John Deere harness. As for mounting the stuff, I've seen some guys make a mount that goes into the receiver on the back or front, mounts off the corner post, etc. You can get a mobile greenstar harness from your JD dealer, that will hook up the receiver and display with a cigarette lighter on the gator with a switch to turn the stuff on and off. Plan was to mount the Starfire in the front off the gator and have a passenger hold the 2630 to pause at the corners.ĭue to snow most likely will do this early spring and would prefer to not take the tractors out if it can be avoided. Also any pics of what your set-up looks like for those who do this often and have spent some time creating a nice set-up. Switching precision equipment and not sure what is needed to hook up JD 2630 display and Starfire 3000 with RTK correction for accurate boundaries onto a utility vehicle (12 volt ).
